Project Overview

NurseryLive is a gardening application that with over 6000 products available online for delivery across India, NurseryLive caters to all kinds of gardening needs ranging from plants, pots, and tools to curated plantscaping solutions. Their services are currently operational throughout the country. ​​

"We rely on NurseryLive app heavily for plant related services. With limited alternatives in India, I aim to redesign a user-friendly platform and my goal is to make plant care accessible to all, regardless of experience, bridging the gap between technology and nature".

Examined app reviews on Google play store and apply play store. NurseryLive received consistently low ratings on both platforms. The majority of users expressed their dissatisfaction with the app's help center function,citing as a recurring issue.

It is not comprehensible and difficult to navigate through. All back arrow is linked to the home page, so no matter where a user is in the help center, they are directed to the home page if they want to go to the previous screen

Segmentation Of Products

Improper filtration mechanism: When a specific item is searched, it shows quite low in the product listing page.

There are no filters to apply, making it difficult to search for specific type of items.

All these screens are for just the description of one type of plant. This makes it difficult for users to comprehend and overloads them with lots of information.

 Goal Statement

Our NurseryLive redesign app will let users navigate through the application easily which will affect consumers who have gardening needs by creating an enjoyable and equitable shopping experience. We will measure the effectiveness by measuring product sales.

Problem Statement

Nursery Live customers experience difficulty navigating through the unorganized app, which fails to provide a helpful and equitable experience. Our solution is to redesign the application to make it user-friendly. This will ensure that customers are able to complete their function in a hassle-free manner. A user-friendly app will help Nursery Live attract more customers, improve customer satisfaction, and increase retention rates.

been discarded and the contents have shifted to "My Profile".

Changes: Categories have been listed in such a way that there is no scrolling required to view all of them. Filters have been introduced for easy access to desired products.

Actions such as 'wish list a product', 'reviews & ratings', 'share' has been made a lot more accessible. 'Buy Now' button has been introduced for quicker order placements. Description of product was reduced to make it easier to comprehend. 'Frequently Bought Together' has been introduced to sell more products.

Changes: A separate reviews page created, so users won't have to view only 2 reviews at a time. Items have been consistently placed in a Wishlist page as others.

Additions: Help Centre has been shifted to 'My Profile' from the home screen. Contents from the menu have been shifted to help center. Search bar of the 'My orders' have camera and mike for ease of search along with the filter list.
